“First of all we do not recognize the ten-dashed line. We do not even recognize the nine-dashed line much more the 10-dashed line. The Arbitral Award is final and binding and it gives us our maritime entitlement, our extended economic zone, our territorial waters and even our extended continental shelf,” pahayag ni Sec. Eduardo Año, National Security Adviser.

Ayon kay Indian Ambassador to the Philippines Shambu Kumaran, maituturing itong cartographic expansionism.

“Obviously we reject this effort but looking at the sentiment of the Philippines. I think I would express my solidarity with the sentiments of the Philippines which I would call ‘cartographic expansionism’. I think it’s important to state our position and our views,” saad ni H.E. Shambu Kumaran, Indian Ambassador to the Philippines.

“We have clearly articulated in out statement that this Map does not correspond with the realities on the ground and with India’s claim specifically Arunachal Pradesh.. …have been included in the map,” ani Kumaran.

“It described it that this map is absurd that pretty sums up our position,” saad pa ni Kumaran.

“I think that’s what happening as you would notice all countries has actually said strong statements and indicate there is clear rejection,” dagdag nito.

“On August 28, the Ministry of Natural Resources of China released the 2023 edition of the standard map. It is a routine practice in China’s exercise of sovereignty in accordance with the law. We hope relevant sides can stay objective and calm, and refrain from over-interpreting the issue,” ayon kay Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin.
