ONE-hundred-eighteen (118) members of the Dolis Calatrava Farmers Association (DOCAFA) received four (4) irrigation Facilities, ten (10) two-in-one paddy rice harvesters/grass cutters, seven (7) knapsack sprayers, and three hundred (300) bags of organic fertilizer through the major crop-based (MCB) block farm productivity project under the Climate-Resilient Farm Productivity Support (CRFPS) Program.
These farm machinery, equipment, and inputs are set to improve DOCAFA’s productivity and contribute to food security in the province. With rice as one of their major crops, planted on 50 of the more than 75 hectares of Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP)-awarded land, DOCAFA is one of the four designated MCB project sites aimed at improving rice production in the northern region of the province.
