A gunman killed 14 people in an attack at a University in Prague.
The gunman, identified as a student at the said university, was said to be eliminated at the scene.
Reports say Czech police officers rushed to Charles University building at Jan Palach Square in Prague, where they eliminated an active shooter.
The building was also evacuated, and police found 14 dead victims and at least 25 more injured.
Local media identified the shooter as David Kozak, a 24-year-old student at Charles University.
Authorities also named the shooter as “David K”.
According to the police chief, it was unclear whether officers or the suspect fired the bullet that took his life and ended the mass shooting.
The shooter was also suspected of murdering his father in Kladno City earlier before travelling to Prague.
Images and videos also went viral on social media, showing students hiding outside a building when the incident was taking place.
This attack is labeled as the worst shooting incident in Chezch history, prompting the nation to declare a day of mourning for the victims.
