ARMY troops of 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division (1ID) led the ceremony for a new road project, medical and dental missions as a demonstration of progress in Brgy. Saad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur on March 12, 2024.
An 8-kilometer road was constructed to strengthen connectivity and foster economic growth between the areas of Brgy. Saad, Zamboanga del Sur to Brgy. Bagumbayan, Sergio Osmena, Zamboanga del Norte. Alongside, the medical and dental missions were conducted by military medical personnel and local healthcare workers.
The Army leadership lauded the humanitarian initiative of the 1ID as their efforts echo the desire for peace and development in Zamboanga del Sur. Likewise, the 1ID leadership also expressed gratitude to the local healthcare workers and the residents of Zamboanga del Sur for their collaboration.
