THE Philippine Air Force (PAF) concluded its First Quarter Command Conference 2025 at the PAF Headquarters, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, presided over by the Commanding General of the PAF, Lieutenant General Arthur M Cordura PAF.
The first day of the conference commenced with the session led by Major General Aristotle D Gonzalez PAF, focusing on evaluating the PAF’s role as a force provider to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), while emphasizing its transformation into a mission-oriented, capability-driven, and values-based organization.
Key discussions centered on further enhancing operational readiness and proactively addressing future challenges. The conference also facilitated dialogue and decision-making, underscoring the PAF’s unwavering commitment to maintaining a capable, credible, and agile air force, well-prepared for any challenges ahead.
In line with its commitment to innovation, the PAF through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Air Staff for Personnel, OA-1, in collaboration with the 950th Cyberspace and Electronic Warfare Wing, launched the Punishment Book System (PBS). This system streamlines disciplinary case management within the PAF and will further serve as a ready reference for personnel promotions, schooling, and career progression.
Additionally during the conference, retiring Air Force General Officers and a Senior Officer shared their valedictory messages as they conclude their military service this quarter. Among them are Major General Araus Robert Musico PAF, Commander, Air Combat Command; Brigadier General Frederick Cutler PAF, Wing Commander, Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao; and Colonel Rudith Vivienne Villanueva PAF, Chief Nurse, Air Force.
Further, in the said conference, the PAF through its Safety Office launched the Command Safety Policy and facilitated the unveiling of Command Safety Policy poster and signing on the Pledge of Commitment to Safety wall, reaffirming PAF’s dedication to prioritizing and upholding safety standards and practices. The PAF also recognized the top performing Units in Safety Management System (SMS) inspections, surveys, and audits for the year 2024.
Likewise, the Office of the Air Force Inspector General recognized Groups, Centers, Schools, and Squadrons, of various PAF Units for their exceptional performance in the 4th Quarter 2024 PAF Units Recognition System.
