THE 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championships Local Organizing Committee held its meeting with 245 days left before it opens on September 12, setting stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Richard Bachmann extended the agency’s support where 32 teams, including the Philippines, will collide for the much-coveted world volleyball trophy.
Also attending the session were Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino, Philippine National Volleyball Federation officials led by Pres. Ramon “Tats” Suzara who also heads the Asian Volleyball Confederation, and business tycoon Manuel Pangilinan.
Completing the tournament’s Local Organizing Committee chairpersonship are First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, presidential son William Vincent Marcos, and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.
