THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) announced that the recorded deaths due to Typhoon Egay and the enhanced southwest monsoon increased to 25 individuals.
Of this number, two are confirmed dead while the other 23 are still for validation.
Meanwhile, the affected families due to the bad weather ballooned to more than 600-K or equivalent to more than two million individuals.
The said number came from 13 Regions, 47 provinces, 441 cities and municipalities, and 4,111 Barangays.
On the overall number of affected more than 300-K individuals were temporarily staying in 737 evacuation centers.
More than 35-K houses were damaged by the typhoon, and of this number, more than one thousand were fully damaged.
