ABOUT 30% of Filipinos hit by COVID-19 abroad have recovered.
According to the agency’s latest data, 2, 233 of the total number of Filipinos were infected.
In total, 25 new recoveries were recorded, which led to 669 recoveries.
“Based on the latest figures, the total number of Filipinos who recovered from COVID-19 at 669 remains more than twice than the total fatalities and is now almost 30 percent of the total confirmed cases,” Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Eduardo Meñez said.
One added to the death toll and an additional 38 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Filipinos abroad.
Meanwhile, the repatriation of Filipinos affected by pandemics will continue on Monday, which includes about 300 Filipinos from the United Kingdom.
