PERSONAL na tinanggap ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ang daan-daang turista na nakilahok sa Very Important Pinoy Tour.
Tinatayang nasa 300 ang nakilahok sa tour na inorganisa ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Department of Tourism (DOT) sa pamamagitan ng Tourism Promotions Board at ng Rajah Tours na nagsilbi bilang ground handler ng 2023 VIP Tour.
“Welcome to the Palace. As part of your tour I guess we can say that the Palace is also one of the monuments that you should, if you’re not familiar with the sites and sounds and I am sure that all of you are very keen to see all of that,” pagbati ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
Kabilang sa nakilahok sa VIP Tour ay ang mga Pilipinong nagtra-trabaho sa foreign service na nakaposte sa ibang bansa.
“It’s become a more extensive program in the sense that we have put a great deal of priority on our tourism and our investment not only in the Philippines but also abroad, and so this plays for me, in my view, this plays a part in our transformation of our economy, tourism plays a very large part of that,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos.
Dagdag din ni Pangulong Marcos na malaki ang bahagi ng mga Pilipino sa pagsusulong ng magandang imahe ng bansa hindi lamang sa mga nasa Pilipinas kundi maging ang mga nasa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.
“And we look to Filipinos not only in the Philippines but everywhere around the world because Filipinos around the world have become and continue to become an important part not only of our Philippine society but also of the places where you decided to live and work,” aniya pa.
Ang VIP Tour 2023: The Very Important Pinoy Tour 2023 ay nagsimula noong Hulyo 16 at magtatapos sa Hulyo 24, 2023.
Bahagi sa tour ay ang pagbisita sa mga tourist at heritage site ng Metro Manila at iba pang tourist sports sa Iloilo at Boracay.
Tiniyak ng VIP Tour na magiging adventure pack at hindi malilimutan ang mararanasan ng mga nakilahok sa tour na ito.
