THE Army’s 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division kicked off the Christmas season with its annual Ceremonial Christmas Lighting at its headquarters in Camp Gen Macario B Peralta Jr., Jamindan, Capiz on December 2, 2024.
The event featured the lighting of the division’s Christmas tree, symbolizing hope, unity, and the spirit of giving during the Yuletide season.
Major General Marion R. Sison, the 3ID Commander, led the event and shared an inspiring message, calling on everyone to embrace the values of kindness and generosity, especially during these challenging times.
“As we celebrate this season of joy, let us remember that the greatest gift we can give is kindness whether through a simple gesture, a helping hand, or an open heart. Let this Christmas remind us all to spread warmth and goodwill,” MGen. Sison said.
The event was attended by officers, enlisted personnel, and their families. It underscored the division’s commitment to promoting peace, unity, and service.
