THE Supreme Court will raffle ABS-CBN’s petition for certiorari and prohibition for TRO or preliminary injunction today, May 11.
This is in line with the issuance of a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission or NTC against the company after the franchise expired on Monday, May 5.
In the SC PIO’s press release, the raffle will be held for whoever will handle the petition by the giant network.
In the company’s petition, it wants to overturn the NTC decision.
The NTC first gave ABS-CBN ten days to respond as to why the frequencies assigned to it should not be recalled.
