IN a significant effort to aid those affected by recent storms, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol, through the leadership of Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao and the Albay Provincial Office, distributed cash assistance to 1,307 TUPAD beneficiaries during a payout activity held at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation. Each TUPAD beneficiary received a total of ₱3,950 for 10 days of work.
Director Gatinao assured the public of DOLE’s unwavering commitment to rehabilitate and rebuild vulnerable sectors significantly impacted by the storms.
The said beneficiaries participated in various community development projects, including clearing operations, street and sidewalk sweeping, cleaning of public facilities, and community gardening.
