THE Philippine Army and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) discussed enhanced collaboration and joint operations in South Eastern Mindanao during the visit of Coast Guard Commodore Rejard Marfe in Mawab, Davao de Oro on April 23, 2024.
The 10th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Allan Hambala welcomed the visit of CG Commodore Marfe, the Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao Commander, where the officials discussed the importance of fostering strong interagency relationships between the PCG and the Army in addressing security challenges in the region.
The Army leadership expresses its support for the collaboration of the 10th Infantry Division and the PCG to enhance the operational capabilities in their areas of responsibility.
The continuous partnership with the PCG will also bolster their effectiveness in safeguarding the nation’s territorial waters and land areas, reaffirming their shared commitment to national security.
