PORMAL nang nanumpa nitong Mayo ang bagong presidente ng Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) Cebu Chapter na si Christian Paro-an sa City Sports Club, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
Bilang bagong presidente, nais ni Paro-an na hikayatin ang mga miyembro nito na gamitin ang makabagong teknolohiya upang maabot ang misyon ng grupo.
“As entrepreneur, innovator and dedicated professional whose collectively stand and resilient and transform challenges into opportunity for growth. Our mission is clear, empower the retail industry in Cebu, improve the quality of goods and services offered to our customers, foster local entrepreneurship, and to represent our interests both locally and nationally,” ayon kay Christian Paro-An, President – Philippine Retailers Association – Cebu.
Ani Paro-an, dapat na magsikap para makalikha ng mas marami pang oportunidad sa trabaho.
“But beyond our economic goals, we must never lose sight of our social responsibility. We must strive to create job opportunities, uphold fair trade practices, and contribute to the sustainable development of our beloved city, Cebu.
Dahil sa e-commerce at tumataas na online shopping habits mula sa pandemya, ang industriya ng retail sa bansa ay nakararanas ng matatag na paglago mula sa mga middle class at pagtaas ng consumer spending.
Samantala, personal ding dinaluhan ni Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama ang oathtaking ng mga opisyales ng PRA at nagpaalala pa na huwag kakaligtaan ipagdasal ang bansa at tulungan ang mga mahihirap.
