Brazil’s Lula appeals to Israeli President for Humanitarian Corridor

BRAZILIAN President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva thanked his Israeli counterpart Isaac Herzog for the assistance provided to Brazil’s mission to evacuate its people, Lula also condemned what he calls terrorist attacks done by the Hamas group.

Lula held a phone conversation with Herzog, and said that he thanked his counterpart for supporting their operation to bring home Brazilians who want to return to the country.

“I thanked him for their support for the operation to withdraw the Brazilians who wish to return to our country,” according to Pres. Lula da Silva Brazil

He also said reaffirmed Brazil’s condemnation of terrorist attacks and its solidarity with the families of the victims.

Lula also asked the president to stop the shortage of water, electricity and medicine in hospitals, he also appealed for a Humanitarian Corridor to allow people to leave the Gaza Strip.

To recall, Lula urged an end to what he described as insanity of war, and that innocent people should not be victims of those who want to wage war.
