PHILIPPINE Coast Guard vessel BRP Cape Engaño (MRRV-4411) conducted year-end community service event in Sitio Talaptap, Buliluyan, Bataraza, Palawan on 31 December 2024.
The program aimed to spread joy and goodwill among the local residents of all ages, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and support within the community.
The team organized various games, feeding program to the local residents, and gift-giving activity. This gesture of kindness emphasized the importance of compassion and support, especially during this festive season.
Chief of Training Staff, Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command, Commodore Maricor R Soliva PCG, graced the event and highlighted the significance of uniformed service duty during this season away from their families.
