CAAP dispatches team to investigate crash-landed aircraft in Malolos, Bulacan

THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) received a report from the Plaridel Tower regarding a crash-landed Cessna C152 type aircraft operated by Fliteline Aviation in a ricefield in Malolos, Bulacan 2:15 pm today, February 10.

According to the initial report, the aircraft with registry number RP-C2673 was on a touch-go training flight with a route from Plaridel to Subic and back to Plaridel. It performed an emergency landing procedure due to an engine failure southwest of NLEX.

Moreover, the pilot and student pilot on board have been reported as safe and alive following the emergency landing.

Meanwhile, the Operations Center and the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (PARCC) of CAAP have already been alerted to the incident. Additionally, the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board has been dispatched to the crash site for investigation.
