THE Coast Guard District Palawan (CGDPAL) has conducted rescue operations to assist families impacted by Typhoon “Romina” in Purok Milagrosa, Barangay San Manuel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan today, 23 December 2024.
The Deployable Response Groups (DRG) of CGDPAL remain on heightened alert, ensuring they are ready to provide immediate assistance to those in need.
According to the CGDPAL, this operation underscored the vital role of the Philippine Coast Guard in disaster response, demonstrating their dedication to protecting lives and supporting vulnerable communities on land, alongside their maritime duties, especially during times of crisis.
