BUKIDNON showcases vibrant indigenous tapestries, dances, and more at the Kaamulan Festival 2024!
In celebration of the formation of Bukidnon as a province in 1917, the recently held Kaamulan Festival 2024 is considered as its biggest annual gathering, highlighting its rich and diverse indigenous culture.
Derived from the word “Amul,” which means “to gather,” the term “Kaamulan” encapsulates the spirit of unity and celebration.
The month-long festival’s highlights were the magnificent street dancing and float parade and ground presentation, different activities like Ethnic Sports, Bukidnon’s Culture and Art Exhibit, Kaamulan Rodeo, Cultural Presentations and many more were participated by several local indigenous groups where they proudly share Bukidnon’s cultural heritage and traditions.
