In response to the onslaught of Typhoon #CarinaPH, the Chinese Embassy in collaboration with the Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., have donated 3,500 relief packages worth over 3.5 million pesos to families in need. Each package, containing rice, canned food, and noodles, aims to provide immediate relief to those affected by the disaster.
I was glad to deliver the first batch of relief packs to the residents of Barayon affected by the typhoon together with Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo. We hope these humble donations would be of help to those families in need. #Handinhand, we stand together in trying times, and pray for early resumption of normal life in the affected areas.
