Coast Guard Station Malacañang leads relief efforts for flood victims in Batangas City

COAST Guard Station Malacañang took the lead in a dedicated relief effort for flood victims in Batangas City on 29 October 2024.

This initiative is in collaboration with Operation Brotherhood Montessori Center and receiving vital support from the 124th Coast Guard Auxiliary, as well as the Coast Guard Intelligence Force and Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL), they united their resources to reach out to affected communities across several barangays in need.

Essential relief supplies were distributed as follows:

Barangay Balakilong, Laurel, Batangas: 50 relief packs

Barangay As-Is, Laurel, Batangas Evacuation Center: 50 relief packs

Municipality of Agoncillo: 40 relief packs

Coral na Munti National High School: 60 relief packs

In total, 200 grocery packs were distributed, each containing five kilograms of rice, one pack of biscuits, four assorted canned goods, a hygiene kit, shirt, towel, and blanket. These relief items were generously donated to help relief and assistance to affected individuals and families during this challenging time.

This relief operation is just one of the activities in which the PCG continuously participates to achieve its mission.
