Confiscated Chinese medicine for COVID-19 not FDA registered

NO one has yet applied to register Chinese medicine used to treat coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

This was after authorities confiscated the drugs sold by the Chinese who allegedly cured COVID-19.

According to Food and Drugs Administration General Eric Domingo, Chinese medicine should be registered for review before being released to the public.

He also said that importing and selling unregistered drugs is illegal.

Domingo eventually said they would contact the importer to check the drug even after it was registered in China.

Domingo also advised the public that it is best to consult a doctor before taking the medicine.
