IN a move towards improving efficiency and addressing key concerns, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Bicol Legal Sector convened for a quarterly performance review and enhancement workshop recently at Beatriz Rafaela Resort, Panubigan in this town.
The activity focused on identifying and discussing existing challenges while formulating strategic approaches to enhance the division’s overall efficiency in fulfilling its function.
In his message, Assistant Regional Director for Administrations (ARDA) Rodrigo O. Realubit emphasized the importance of prioritizing tasks, particularly with regard to meeting deadlines and timelines.

The presentations of the provincial and regional accomplishments for legal and SPLIT project, as well as the schedule for submission of reports, added a comprehensive review of the sector’s performance.
Commended for their accomplishments, the legal sector exceeded its performance targets in the first quarter of 2024. The team has settled 348 agrarian law implementation (ALI) cases, which is 150% of the sector’s target for the quarter.
Meanwhile, Atty. Leo Miguel A. Ramos, DAR Bicol legal chief, presented the agrarian legal service operational directives for 2024, outlining the strategic direction for the sector moving forward.
“We need to have a proactive approach for ALI cases, as well as for Project SPLIT,” he added.
The quarterly performance review also featured the budget utilization reports for both the ALAD and Project SPLIT initiatives.
Discussions on SPLIT target, Legal Case Monitoring System (LCMS) data cleansing, lecture on Administrative Order 3, series of 2023, and other legal concerns will be facilitated until April 5, 2024.
