Dasmariñas Village incident due to resident’s nasty words against police

THE Makati City Police released the initial results of their investigation into the incident inside Dasmariñas Village.

Video of the arrest of a foreigner identified as Javier Parra went viral on social media right outside his house in the exclusive subdivision in Makati.

According to Police Maj. Gideon Ines Jr. said the incident took place when police conducted monitoring and operation of Enhanced Community Quarantine within the subdivision in accordance with Brgy. Dasmariñas Chairwoman Rosana Hwang’s request.

He said while patrolling inside the subdivision, PSMS Roland Madrona and Brgy. Dasmariñas Bantay Bayan Esteban Gaan scolded Parra’s helper Cherilyn Escalate for not wearing a face mask while watering plants.

After the encounter, the helper entered the house.

From there Parra and his wife Abegail Salvador suddenly came out of the house and argued with the authorities over the scolding with their housemate.

Gideon Ines Jr. said.

The video captured by Bantay Bayan Gaan shows how Parra was angry and bullied the police.

It was here that police tried to arrest Parra who can be seen in the video taken by his wife Salvador.

In addition, police immediately recorded the incident on the police blotter and were preparing a case against the offenders.

“Sasampahan natin siya ngayon ng disobedience to a lawful person in authority, direct assault ikakaso rin natin; yung violation ng RA 11332 (Enhancement Community Quarantine Act), then lahat po ‘yan ay isasampa nating kaso through regular filing against sa foreigner na to,”add Ines.
