PORMAL nang nanumpa si dating Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Guillermo Eleazar bilang miyembro ng Partido Reporma kahapon, araw ng Linggo.
Kasabay na inanunsyo ni Eleazar na maghain ito ng certificate of candidacy (COC) bilang senador sa Lunes, Nobyembre 15.
Magiging kapartido ni Eleazar sina Senator Panfilo Lacson, presidential aspirant, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, vice presidential aspirant.
“Today, I accept the challenge to replicate the brand of public service that we have shown in the Philippine National Police in the past six months, I accept the challenge to work for the vision of genuine reform and transformation for the Filipino people, and I accept the challenge to run for senator of the Republic of the Philippines,” pahayag ni Eleazar.
Matatandaan na naging hepe ng PNP si Eleazar simula noong Mayo 7 kung saan ay inilunsad nito ang Intensified Cleanliness Police.
Kabilang sa inilunsad ng dating PNP chief ang e-Sumbong, bilang modernong complaint referral system upang magamit ng publiko na humihingi ng tulong at magsangguni sa pamamagitan ng social media.
