THE City Government of Davao has acquired a new baggage X-ray machine for the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) to further strengthen the safety and security of passengers going to and from the city.
The new baggage scanner was installed in the passenger entrance of the terminal and is now operational.
The machine has a capacity of around 150 to 200 kilograms, and can detect both organic and inorganic materials including those that are not allowed in the terminal such as sharp objects, firearms, ammunition, and other illegal objects.
