THE Department of Energy (DOE), through Ms. Maria Charlyn B. Caiña, Internal Auditor III, recently participated in the Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Revised Philippine Government Internal Audit Manual (RPGIAM) aimed at strengthening the government’s safeguarding of resources.
Ms Caiña, together with representatives from other government agencies, underwent a three-week intensive training as part of the ongoing efforts of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) to strengthen the internal control systems in government, particularly on the conduct of internal audits.
The DOE congratulates Ms. Caiña for now being part of the DBM’s pool of recognized resource persons on the National Guidelines on Internal Control Systems (NGICS) and the Revised Philippine Government Internal Audit Manual (RPGIAM).
