THE Department of Health (DOH), through Secretary Teodoro Herbosa and Assistant Secretary Ariel Valencia, graced the 11th anniversary of Gentri Medical Center and Hospital Inc. (Gentrimed) in General Trias City, Cavite where several healthcare facilities were inaugurated to serve the area’s constituents on August 03, 2024.
The day’s highlights included the opening of Gentrimed’s Cancer Treatment Center, Diabetes Care Center, Holistic Mental Health and Wellness Center, Sleep Apnea Center, and groundbreaking Ceremony of a hub that will house Philhealth and other social services. Each of the specialty centers will help in the implementation of the DOH’s priority health outcomes.
Furthermore, the Gentrimed administration committed to aligning with the Health Sector’s 8-Point Action Agenda towards the attainment of Universal Health Care where every Filipino experiences quality healthcare, regardless of socioeconomic status.
