DEPARTMENT of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco and TPB COO Margarita Montemayor Nograles showed their support for Philippine arts and culture by attending the LAKBAY Voyages into the Absolute with Nena Saguil at Discovery Primea Makati last Saturday, February 8.
Their presence in the event underlined the contribution of Filipino artists and overseas Filipinos in boosting tourism in the country.
LAKBAY: Voyages into the Absolute celebrates the works of Nena Saguil, one of the first modernists in the country.
Saguil was one of the artists who showcased Filipino talent abroad, encouraging people from various countries to become interested in Philippine culture.
The event was organized by boutique creative platform Art House founded by Juan Carlos Pineda and conducted with the support of the Tourism Promotions Board.
