DPWH-CAR inspects New Presidential Museum at the Baguio Mansion House

THE Baguio Mansion House, a popular tourist spot known for its rich historical heritage and architecture, opens its doors for the very first time with the curation of the Presidential Museum.

DPWH-CAR Regional Director Khadaffy D. Tanggol leads the inspection of the Department’s ongoing project, the Rehabilitation and Improvement of The Mansion House. In ensuring the quality and safety of the construction work, the Regional Director was joined by Maintenance Division Chief Nelia I. Antonio and Project Engineer Alfredo L. Mina who were toured by Director of Internal House Jimmy Santiago.

These inspections aim to keep track of the progress of the rehabilitation and improvement of the site to ultimately ensure that the project is up to standards in quality, safety, compliance, cost efficiency, and overall public satisfaction.

The Presidential Museum features seven galleries showcasing each of the country’s past presidents and their accomplishments. It hopes to let its audience learn more about the Presidents of the Philippines and their historical timelines, artifacts, and memorabilia from their terms. The museum also features the President’s Office, the Presidential Hall, and a museum gift shop.
