DPWH completes 2 PNP infra buildings in Camp Crame

THE Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region, and Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office (QC2nd DEO) simultaneously inaugurated two beneficial police infrastructure buildings for Police Commissioned Officers (PCO), and Firearms and Explosive Office (FEO) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on March 24, 2025 at Camp Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City.

First constructed in 1974, the Firearms and Explosives Office Building had only undergone minimal repairs to accommodate the growing number of clients, and maintain effective administrative operations. With the newly renovated building, the FEO will now be able to serve more clients with its modernized work areas, and ultimately help optimized its FEO Data Server that provides firearms and explosive licenses across the Philippines.

While the newly constructed five-storey Police Commissioned Officer’s building will provide a comfortable living quarters for police officers, serving as their home away from home.

The inauguration was attended by DPWH-NCR Regional Director Loreta M. Malaluan; PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil; officials of PNP; Quezon City 2nd District Engineer Johnny L. Protesta, Jr.; and Assistant District Engineer Gene S. Leaño.

Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan in a message delivered by RD Malaluan promised to build more efficient infrastructure facilities responsive to the needs of the police force under the TIKAS program.
