MARKING the 2024 Brigada Eskwela with community spirit and support to educational development, the Department of Public Works and Highways – Las Piñas Muntinlupa District Engineering Office provided school supplies to two local schools within the cities, on July 23, 2024.
Among the beneficiaries are the Pamplona Elementary School, Unit 1, Las Piñas City where a total of 150 learning materials along with 150 snacks were distributed; and the Bayanan Elementary School, Unit 1, Muntinlupa City, where a total of 150 Jollibee food packs and three sets of trash bins were given. This initiative is part of the department’s annual conduct of Oplan Balik Eskwela where collaboration and compassion intersect, it signifies support for the academic development of young minds.
The event was led by the Las Piñas Muntinlupa District Engineer Isabelo C. Baleros, joined by Assistant District Engineer Maria Cristina E. Tacardon; Ms. Grace Chua, Chief of Human Resources and Administrative Services; Engr. Jaime P. Baquiran, Chief of the Quality Assurance Section; Engr. Jan Jerick H. Cruz, Officer-in-Charge of the Construction Section; Engr. Loreto C. Baleña Jr., Chief of the Maintenance Section; Engr. Mikko Shairo B. De Guzman; Engr. Arvin E. Endriga; Ms. Aiko May R. Laput; Mr. Niko D. Flores; and Mr. Mayo Rino M. Blauta.
