INANUNSYO ni Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar na karagdagang 1,013 na mga inhenyero ang inilagay sa ilalim ng Build Build Build (BBB) Program sa buong bansa.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, kabilang sa mga inhenyero ay 634 na mga lalaki at 379 na mga babae.
“These newly-regularized men and women personnel, mostly employed in the Department as contract of service or job order staff for few years, and the rest of our employees and officials are the backbone of the success of our BBB Program”, pahayag ni Villar.
Sa ilalim ng BBB Program, naidagdag ang 108 na karagdagang work force o inhenyero sa DPWH National Capital Region at sa siyam na District Engineering Offices (DEOs) nito.
Naidagdag sa Region 3 ang 153 na mga manggagawa, 126 naman sa Region 4-A; tig- 162 sa Region 5 at Region 6; habang 54 naman sa Region 7; 123 sa Region 8; at 125 sa Region 10.
“With adequate and competent manpower, we will be able to deliver more projects on time, and in strict adherence to our design standards,” dagdag ni Villar.
Nasa kabuuang 253 naman ang naging regular na ang trabaho at makakakuha ng benepisyo ng seguridad at permanenteng trabaho na dati ay nasa ilalim ng contract service ng Central Office.
“These job order staff – some have even rendered service for as long as seven (7) years – are all well-deserving and competent personnel who are helping us achieve our country’s Golden Age of Infrastructure,” ayon kay Villar.
Ayon kay Villar, sa 253 na newly-permanent employees ng DPWH Central Office, 139 dito sa ngayon ay humawak ng posisyon ng engineer II, 22 ang administrative officers, 14 ang heavy equipment operators, walo ang administrative assistants, at pito ang draftsmen.
Kabilang din sa humawak ng permanenteng posisyon ang engineer III, attorney, architect, legal assistants economist, computer programmer, community affairs officer, geologist, cartographer, accountant, chemist and engineering assistant, at marami pang iba.
