THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO), through its SAMAhan ng mga KAwaning NAgkakaisa (SAMAKANA), collaborated with the local government unit of Guagua to organize a flu vaccination drive for its employees on January 20, 2025.
District Engineer Gregorio Audea, Jr. expressed appreciation to Guagua Rural Health Unit II Head Dr. Ma. Isabel Calilung for supporting the program, emphasizing that the activity would help ensure the health and wellness of district personnel.
“This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of our workforce,” Audea said.
SAMAKANA President Mark Daves Dabu reported that 84 staff members from various DEO sections participated in the immunization effort, which took place following the weekly flag-raising ceremony.
