DSWD holds the 5th Redemption Day for the Walang Gutom 2027

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) holds the 5th Redemption Day for the Walang Gutom 2027: Food Stamp Program (FSP) beneficiaries in Tondo, Manila on April 30 (Tuesday) as the program nears the completion of its 6-months pilot implementation in the area.

Some 647 Tondo beneficiaries were expected to redeem their Php3,000 worth of food credits through their electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards.

The food credits allow the FSP beneficiaries to purchase affordable and nutritious food from DSWD-accredited stores.

The Walang Gutom 2027: Food Stamp Program is a priority program of the Marcos Administration to combat involuntary hunger among the food-poor segment in our society.
