EXECUTIVE Secretary Lucas Bersamin is being called to account for his actions, with Jose Alejandrino asserting that his lack of due diligence makes him liable.
“Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin should have exercised due diligence after receiving that warning from Sen. Imee Marcos. He should have exercised due diligence to find out what went wrong before making the president sign it into law.
He did not. And that’s why he’s liable. He cannot escape liability for that. He was negligent,” stated Jose Alejandrino, Former Presidential Consultant.
