Former PNP officer recalls FPRRD’s support during her service
I was once a proud member of the Philippine National Police, living my childhood dream of serving and protecting the people specially those who couldn’t protect themselves. But in 2024, I made a decision to resign.
There’s a line in the Pledge of Loyalty that says, “If you must growl, condemn, and eternally find fault—resign your position.” And so I did. Imagine dedicating your whole life to a dream, only to walk away without regret. That is how deeply I feel about the state of our current administration.
To my FORMER PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE (FPRRD), you didn’t just give me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of better serving and protecting the people, but also you gave me genuine love and unwavering support. Words will never be enough to express my gratitude to you.
My heart goes out to my former colleagues in the PNP, AFP, and other MIU who cannot openly show their love and support for you. Their silence is not by choice but by circumstance.
We are all burdened by the fact that you stood for us, protected us, even at the cost of your own life and freedom. And yet, painfully, we cannot openly return the same protection to you.
For all that you have done, and for the sacrifices you continue to make, thank you, FPRRD. You will always have my deepest respect and gratitude.
