INILUNSAD na ang Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan (NMRDP) para sa taong 2023-2028 kasabay ng kauna-unahang State of the Region Address (SORA) ni Gov. Imelda Q. Dimaporo ng Lanao del Norte.
Ang mga programa ng NMRDP para sa taong 2023-2028 ay nakaangkla sa walong puntong socioeconomic agenda ng administrasyong Marcos na sumailalim sa mga estratehikong prayoridad ng Hilagang Mindanao bilang pagsuporta sa Philippine Development Plan (PDP) para sa taong 2023-2028.
Ayon kay Mylah Faye Aurora Cariño, Regional Director ng NEDA Regional Office Northern Mindanao, may opisyal na kautusan sa mga aktibidad na ipatutupad tungo sa isang pagbabalangkas ng PDP para sa taong 2023 hanggang 2028 kabilang na ang Regional Development Plan.
“The formulation of the Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan for 2023-2028 ensured multi-stakeholders participation at the regional and local levels making the process highly consultative and participative. This was undertaken under the auspices of the regional and local planning consultations, we went on the provinces and we also visited some cities,” ani Dir. Myla Faye Aurora B. Cariño, Regional Director ng NEDA-X, Vice Chairperson, RDC-X.
Sa kauna-unahang SORA ni Gov. Imelda Q. Dimaporo ng Lanao del Norte, inihayag nito ang kahalagahan ng NMRDP tungo sa mas maunlad na rehiyon.
“First, it signifies our socioeconomic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the end of the lockdowns, our performance has been consistently surpassing that of pre-pandemic levels. We have reopened communities, restored jobs, and birthed innovations to help us adapt to this new world, one that is also threatened by a climate crisis,” saad ni Hon. Imelda Q. Dimaporo, Governor Lanao del Norte.
Ang NMRDP 2023-2028, bilang Regions Development Blueprint para sa susunod na anim na taon ay naglalatag ng mga inilaan na aksiyon na naglalayong patnubayan ang rehiyon tungo sa mataas na landas ng paglago nito.
