THE Hard lockdown was successfully implemented in Tondo District 01 in Manila.
This is according to the Manila Police District after it said that despite the total 800,000 population in the area, only 281 violators have been recorded.
Accordingly, despite the hard lockdown ended in that area, police officers who are members of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau and the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force continue to patrol especially the market.
Meanwhile, with mass testing in the area, up to 109 were reported positive for COVID-19.
According to the COVID-19 update of the Manila Public Information Office, there have been 700 confirmed cases.
A total of 583 active cases were recorded, 924 were suspected, 81 were probable, and 114 were recovered while 73 were killed.
