NASA kabuuang 7,510 na trabaho ang iaalok sa Philippine Tourism Job Fair ng Department of Tourism (DOT) at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Kasabay ng pag-usbong ng turismo ng Pilipinas ay ang pagbubukas ng libu-libong trabaho para sa mga job seekers at mga nawalan ng trabaho.
Mula sa 147 na establisimyento sa Metro Manila, Cebu at Davao, kabilang sa mga trabaho na maaaring aplayan ay mula sa mga accommodation establishment, travel at tour sevices, mga pasilidad at tagapag-organisa ng Meetings, Incentives, Convention and Exhibitions (MICE), mga tourist transport operator, health and wellness services, restaurant o food service at iba pang tourism-related establishments.
Bukas na ang pre-registration para sa nasabing job fair.
Sa Metro Manila na tatagal mula Setyembre 22-24 ang job fair na gaganapin sa SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.
Maaaring magparehistro ang mga interesadong aplikante sa pamamagitan ng link na ito –
Bukas na rin ang rehistrasyon para sa mga job seekers ng Cebu City at Davao City para sa job fair na gaganapin mula Setyembre 22-23 sa SM City Cebu at Abreeza Mall Davao.
Nagpaabot naman ng pasasalamat si Tourism Sec. Christina Garcia-Frasco sa DOLE, sa mga local government units, at sa mga pribadong sektor na sumuporta sa Department of Tourism upang maibalik ang mga nawalan ng trabaho at mabigyan ng bagong trabaho sa tourism industry.
“We could not be more grateful enough to the DOLE, the local government units (LGUs), and all our partners in the private sector who have supported us in this important endeavor to bring back lost jobs and to present a multitude of new opportunities for employment and greener pastures in the tourism industry to our fellow Filipinos,” pahayag ni DOT Sec. Christina Garcia-Frasco.
