MALINAW na humihingi lamang si Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy ng garantiya na mapo-proteksiyunan ng gobyerno ang karapatan niya bilang isang Pilipino base na rin pinakahuling mensahe ng butihing Pastor kung saan humihiling siya ng written guarantee na hindi makikialam ang Amerika sa kasong kinakaharap niya ngayon.
Iyan ang binigyang diin ni Atty. Israelito Torreon, legal counsel ni Pastor Apollo, sa kaniyang panayam sa Banateros sa SMNI.
Ani Torreon, gusto lang din ipaalam sa lahat ni Pastor Apollo na obligasyon ng gobyerno na protektahan ang mga mamamayan nito.
Ito nga’y taliwas sa naging pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos na ‘tail wagging’ lamang ang hiling na written guarantee ng butihing Pastor.
‘‘Pastor Quiboloy is educating us and what is the reason? Mayroon din aniyang lehitimong dahilan o basehan ang mga pangamba ni Pastor Apollo dahil ang Estados Unidos ay marami nang ginawang ganitong hakbang gaya ng extraordinary rendition laban sa isang indibidwal.
Ani Torreon malaki ang interes ng Amerika kay Pastor Apollo kaya hindi imposible ang pangyayaring ito.
‘‘Extraordinary rendition is not legal rendition, ilegal po ‘yan, in other words para maintindihan ng ating mga nakikinig, parang kidnapping ho ‘yan, sponsored by state authorities or state entity to abduct a particular person wanted in their government and transport it to another government to another jurisdiction whose laws and torture interrogation are not so strict. Ay naku andami po, we have the Abu Harar case, we have the Abu Umar case which is transpired in Milan Italy, ‘yung Egyptian clerk nandun lang sa Milan naglalakad siya papunta sa Mosque, kinidnap siya ng U.S. government and then dinala doon sa Egypt at tinorture kasi napagkamalan siyang terorista.’’

Kampo ni Pastor ACQ, maghahain ng motion to quash the warrant of arrest
Maghahain naman ang kampo ng butihing pastor ng motion to quash the warrant of arrest at hahanap ng iba pang legal remedy para solusyunan ang mga kasong kinakaharap nito ngayon.
‘‘Si Pastor Quiboloy is now an accused who is ready, able and willing to face these charges but he is also an accused who is entitled to his rights under the law and one of his rights is to question the finding of the probable cause against him and as a matter of fact we avail of that right so therefore you should not fault him if he will avail of his right motion to quash the warrant of arrest—cases in the United States of Amerika,’’ dagdag pa ni Torreon.
