NORTH Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced his country’s solidarity and support to Russian President Vladimir Putin as he congratulated him on the 79th Anniversary of Victory Day.
Russia on Thursday showcased its military might with parades that took place across its major cities as it marked the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
The parade featured advanced missiles and air defense systems, as well as thousands of military personnel dressed in ceremonial attire.
The U.S. and its allies have accused North Korea of transferring weapons to Russia to be used against Ukraine, but Moscow and Pyongyang denied the accusations.
North Korea showed support for Russia in its war with Ukraine.
In January, North Korea’s Foreign Ministry agreed to further strengthen strategic cooperation with Russia and the establishment of a new multipolar international order, as opposed to the U.S. hegemony.
