TILA marami pa rin ang hindi nakakaalam ng panganib na maaaring idulot ng paggamit ng recycled butane canister.
Ang inaakalang paraan ng pagtitipid, posibleng maging mitsa ng isang aksidente.
Taong 2021, naipasa ang RA 11592 o LPG Industry Regulation Act pero marami pa rin ang hindi nakakaalam kung anong nilalaman nito.
Sa Cebu, isang full implementation program kaugnay rito ang pinangunahan ng LPGMA Party-list at Regasco kamakailan.
Ayon kay Rep. Arnel Ty, layon nitong maipaliwanag ang kahalagahan ng nasabing batas.
“The task of the independent players or the private sectors is to assist the Department of Energy to make sure that it can be sustain in the long period of time that this can be, the law can be more effective the future,” ayon kay Rep. Arnel Ty, LPGMA Party-list.
Dagdag pa ni Ty, sa ilalim ng LPG Industry Regulation Act ay mapo-proteksiyunan ang mga consumer na magkaroon ng bago, ligtas at libreng cylinders.
Nitong nakaraang taon nang magkaroon ng magkakasunod na insidente ng sunog sa Cebu dahil sa paggamit ng recycled butane canisters.
“Also, to promote the safety use the LPG and introduce to our consumer that there are new law that protect the rights that they can have new and safe cylinders, free of charge because of the establishment of the new LPG law,” dagdag ni Ty.
Nangako ang grupo ni Ty na tutulong ito na maipalaganap ang patungkol sa nasabing batas para di malagay sa alanganin ang buhay ng publiko.
“Be assured that the industry, the private sectors and the government, will continue to push for the implementation of the LPG Law for the protection of our consumer. In the end, the consumer is our boss that they need to get the proper service and the proper quality and quantity of LPG products,” dagdag pa nito.
