“Kaya kami nag conduct ng media conference na ito, is for the public to know what were we able to develop and this product is not for display only but we want them to be used for the public, so that the very essence of this media conference . Now how we go about it, they have to express their intent in using our invention, our parents and we will proceed with the necessary technology transfer,” ani Dir. Lilia T. Habacon, Executive Director PSHS System

“Few years back we engage in STEM Education, para sa amin ang pananaw namin sa STEM makakapagturo kami ng Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and we will be able to integrate all those subjects, and ang isa pa naming advocacy is solving real life’s problem. Habacon.

Unang ibinida nila Samantah Feye, Angel Karl at Merci Emmanuelle ang nilikhang aquaculture monitoring device o ‘Bantay’, ito ay magsisilbing monitor sa kalidad ng tubig base sa tatlong parameters, and temperature, potential of hydrogen at dissolved oxygen.

“We along with our mentor coordinated with the farmers on how we could help, and by that what we found out that, because they only use “mata-mata” to access the water quality that they cannot ensure or they are really not sure when to change the water, so with that we ended up with ‘Bantay’. That people can easily remember, with also the message that we wanted to Bantay the aquaculture products,” dagdag ni Samantha Feye Salva, Aquaculture Inventor.

“Ito po ay glasses for visually impaired, so you can ask anything and sasagot siya through audio feedback beyond earphones. Inspirasyon ko talaga yung uncle ko na blind rin, as I was growing up, I really felt the need to solve the problems na na- experience nya in his day to day life,” pahayag ni Vaughn Matthew Valle, Vision Inventor.

“So based on its name Multi-purpose Interconnected Transceiver System it’s basically a system made up of different devices with different  functions, thus multi-purpose because it has different functions and other functions could also be programmed and built as well into this system. Since before we are already creating a nursery green house for seedlings way back in high school but upon developing or thinking for a more compact system to make that happen we engage into this, and apply just one weather station that features that idea before,” pahayag ni McSteven Mecor, MITS Inventor.

“We are very proud of our scholars, finally we were able to showcase their inventions. Previously we have innovations of our scholars but ngayon lang na recognize. But IPOPHIL and the WIPO registered na siya and we are very proud that their hard work pays off. For years most of the inventors the IMAHE and BANTAY they are incoming grade 12 na and soon they where be leaving Pisay Central Visayas and pursue there college degree and Carrer for STEM education. We are very proud, me as the Campus Director and as a parent,” pahayag ni Dr. Rachel Luz Rica, PSHS Campus Director.
