THE Marine Battalion Landing Team-7 (MBLT 7) conducted Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations on December 31, 2024, in Barangay Panitian, Municipality of Sofronio Española, Palawan.
In collaboration with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Sofronio Española, the mission responded to severe flooding caused by overnight rain and thunderstorms brought about by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). The team ensured the safety of affected residents and provided transportation assistance to those in need.
