THE Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Maco reported that as of Wednesday afternoon, 6 bodies were recovered (for validation) and 31 injured individuals were rescued from the landslide that occurred in Brgy. Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro on Tuesday evening, February 6, 2024.
Forty-six individuals are still missing and 758 families are also temporarily sheltered in various Evacuation Centers, MDRRMO Maco said.
Rescue operations of government agencies and rescue teams are ongoing.
