The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have thanked well-wishers and fans through their Sussex Royal Instagram page.

The powerful couple left an emotional farewell message ahead of them quitting the Royal Family.

This is their final post on the account after the Queen has banned them from associating the word ‘royal’ in their branding.

Tonight, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall — marking the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the 80th anniversary of the formation of Britain’s Commandos.
