IN Sudan, the warring factions are currently fighting for control of an arms factory.
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) engaged in a battle for a weapons and ammunition factory in Sudan.
On Tuesday, the RSF reportedly launched an assault on the Yarmouk Complex.
The next day, a massive fire broke out near the military complex wherein the arms factory was located.
In videos posted on their official Twitter account, the RSF said that it took control of the site.
Currently, fighting is still ongoing and the SAF is reportedly utilizing air strikes to keep the RSF from advancing.
Saudi Arabia and Jordan condemn the attack on KSA Embassy
Meanwhile, still with regard to the Sudan conflict, Saudi Arabia strongly condemned an attack on its embassy in the said African country.
Jordan also gave a similar reaction.
According to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the building was vandalized and the residence and property of Saudi employees working at the embassy were destroyed.
From this, Saudi Arabia rejects all forms of violence and sabotage toward diplomatic missions and representations.
It can be noted that Saudi Arabia, together with the United States has played a mediator role in the conflict in Sudan.
They have been calling on both sides to engage in talks and to agree upon a ceasefire.
