Morocco’s gasoline prices among top five most expensive in Africa

FOR most countries in the world today, gasoline is as important as food.

In Morocco, gasoline is becoming an expensive commodity after it was recently ranked among the top five most pricey in Africa.

The latest report was filed by Global Petrol Prices, a platform that tracks retail prices of motor fuel, electricity, and natural gas in more than 150 countries.

Gasoline prices in Morocco which cost roughly $1.54 per liter ranked the fourth highest after Central Africa, Senegal, and Seychelles, while Zimbabwe grabbed the 5th spot.

Meanwhile, Libya and Egypt were recognized as the countries that offer the cheapest rates on the continent.
