NATIONAL Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan received a courtesy visit from executives of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) led by Chairman Noriaki Hirakata and President and Chief Executive Officer Ritsu Imaeda held yesterday (May 13, 2024) at the NEDA Office in Mandaluyong City.
NEDA and the MMPC discussed opportunities to further revitalize the Philippine automotive industry by enhancing overall manufacturing capacity, while also considering the need to reduce carbon emissions in response to the impacts of climate change, emphasizing the development of electric vehicles.
